Noodles with Broccoli and Tuna | Noodles with Broccoli and Tuna

Ingredients

  • 250 g. Oriental Express Egg Noodles
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
  • 2 small dry onions, thinly sliced
  • the florets of 1 medium broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 can of tuna, well drained and chopped
  • 150 g. Dried Mizithra
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon of Blue Dragon sesame oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Execution

  1. Preheat the oven to 190° C in air mode and lightly grease the baking tray.
  2. In a wide saucepan, heat the sunflower oil and sesame oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic and ginger for about half a minute.
  3. Add the onion and broccoli and continue sautéing for about 1-2 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon. Add 600 ml of water, salt and pepper and boil for about 2 minutes, until it starts to boil.
  4. Soak the noodles in hot water for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the noodles to the pot and stir for about 1-2 minutes, until blended.
  6. Pour the mixture into the baking pan and spread it evenly. Scatter the tuna and grated cheese and bake for about 5 minutes, until the pasta is tender.
  7. Place the oven in the grill mode and continue cooking for about 2-3 more minutes, so that they brown on the surface.
  8. Remove from the oven, allow 5 – 10 minutes and serve.
